Technical Directors
school
tool is a centralized, web-based system that is configurable to districts of all sizes, designed specifically to meet state requirements. This provides Technical Directors with the opportunity to reduce support and maintenance costs, eliminate frustrating service interruptions and significantly improve district processes and efficiencies.
- schooltool utilizes the network authentication of the school district so no passwords need to be changed within the application. Once a user is set-up within the network user domain, that user can log onto schooltool.
- schooltool utilizes a SQL Server. SQL Server is an ODBC database engine which means all tables can be accessed. Also, all reports in schooltool can be exported into any format including PDF, excel, txt, etc. All imports are done through the user interface.
- A VPN connection is provided.
- All schooltool updates are pushed to the district servers by schooltool and triggered by the district. The Technology Director only has to upload the update once onto the server and it is automatically updated for the entire district.
